Rachel Roy Jewelry for Macy’s.

I’m all about being a ‘frugalista’ – being smart about fashion – spending less on the trends – and more on the staples – the pieces you can return to season after season. Yet, it’s always nice to indulge in designer items – but what’s even better is when designer pieces – of great quality – are accessible and friendly to your banking account. So naturally, with Rachel Roy designing for Macy’s – I’m the first in line. With her brand new jewelry designs – I’m head-over-heels obsessed – especially with this stunning goldtone necklace.

Would you believe me if I said this was only $34? Ah yes, the beauty of being a recessionista.

  1. great find! I saw the image first (before the price) and was pleasantly surprised…I run an online clothing swap for women on Facebook – suzieswapper – and swapping clothes for free allows me to splurge a bit when it comes to accessories. That said, it’s nice to know it’s not always necessary and deals still exist! You should check it out!

  2. Thanks Marci! The Rachel Roy shoes for Macys are also amazing and at a great price too! I’d love to learn more about suziewapper – it sounds great!

    • macys & Anthropologie are the big reasons I like to visit the states – so you can see why I need to swap! Try visiting the group on FB – suzieswapper – to see it in action but basically, users from all over N.America are invited to clean out their wardrobes and correct any fashion mishaps by swapping out their clothes/shoes/accessories in return for somebodys elses! All clothes are in excellent condition (sadly, many still have pricetags). Swapping is free – you earn point as your items get snapped up. The only cost is for postage if the swapper is not local. There is also an option to just buy the points if you haven’t anything of your own to swap out, but the emphasis is on swapping, keeping it free for everybody! Let me know what you think!
