LC Lauren Conrad Collection . . .
September 30, 2009
She hit it big on Laguna Beach, moved to The Hills, created the Lauren Conrad line, made some L.A. Candy, and now Lauren Conrad is taking names with her new collection for Kohl’s: LC Lauren Conrad,
At first I was skeptical of her latest collection, since her previous one was merely basics matched with a high price tag. But with this new line, the prices are reasonable and by the looks of it, the clothes seem . . . dare I say, worth it. (gasp) Sure, I’m not a fan of her so called “book,” but Lauren Conrad as a fashionista and designer, I respect her.
So here are a few of my favorites from her latest collection: LC Lauren Conrad:
I have to make a visit to the nearest Kohl’s and see how these clothes fit. Updates soon to come!
*NOTE: LC Lauren Conrad is a pilot collection, only appearing at select Kohl’s stores.

My girl SOLD put this to my attention. And I almost cried when I saw this cover.
I’m still catching up on Season 5, so I don’t know much about what is going on with this new season. But I do know that a wedding is underway, Oct 8, and I WILL BE WATCHING. So excited
I recently watched the proposal episode, and it probably was the cutest moment ever. Yes, I squealed, naturally.
Yes, and I have to include this. It is only fitting.
I’m pretty sure every fan of The Office freaked out when Jim went down on one knee. Talk about sawoon!
See you at the wedding,

New Nerdy Glasses . . .
September 23, 2009
It was time for me to change up my eyeglasses, a new frame and a new “outlook” on the world, if you will.
I have been crushing on a pair of Ray Ban glasses, and when I went to the nearest eyeglasses retail store (LC), I found them! They were just what I was looking for, thin frames but wide lenses. They were the perfect fit and made me look nerdy.
So after I purchased them and wore them for the first time, I asked my brother what he thought of my new lenses and his answer? “You look like a nerd.”
PERFECT. MISSION ACCOMPLISHED. Just the look I was aiming for! (and no I’m not being sarcastic)
So, what do you think of my new lenses??

Burberry Prorsum RTW Spring 2010
September 23, 2009
If only I was in London to watch the runway show of Burberry Prorsum! The trenches, ruffles, twists, colors, belts, sparkles and shoes looked lovely. Is there really any other way to describe them?
I loved how every look carried a romantic feel to it. Drapery, knots, sparkles . . . what a beautiful and powerful collection.
Legwear . . .
September 23, 2009
With the first day of Fall already behind us, we need to start prepping for the cooler weather, the change of leaves and most importantly, our wardrobe.
So pull out your boots and pack up your sandals, its time for Fall!
But since it’s still September, don’t get rid of those dresses just yet . . .you can still put them to use. One of my favorite “Must – Haves” for Fall has to be over-the-knee socks. And what better way to wear them, but with a dress!
Weird? Maybe. Sexy? YES. Vanessa Hudgens pulls off this trend effortlessly, matching her socks with a cute gray dress, a cropped jacket, finished off with black platform shoes. I love the look!!

So will you be indulging in some new socks this season? I know I will be! But the only thing is . . . which color do I get them in!?!
Happy Fall!

Emma Shines with Burberry . . .
September 23, 2009
One of my favorite fashionistas, Emma Watson, made it back to UK (in Burberry no less), for the Spring/Summer 2010 Burberry Prorsum Show at Rootstein Hopkins Parade Ground during London Fashion Week. (justjared!)
Her gold, mini dress looks divine on her, especially her platform black strappy heels. Great proportions. Not to mention the black belt, such a great offset to the gold dress – and the zipper!
I also loved her messy bun.
I’ve got a crush. . .
September 22, 2009
Over the weekend my friends and I, like all girls do, began discussing our crushes.
Well, not our “boy” crushes, rather our clothes crushes.
You know how you see a certain top, dress, or in my case, a sweater at a store?? You don’t purchase it and after you leave the store, you can’t stop thinking about it!? Then you start to dream about all of these outfits that you could wear only if you had that one piece…and that your wardrobe will NEVER be complete without it??
Well that my dear readers, is a clothes crush.
Safe to say I had my fair share of crushes and they have all failed . . . as in I’d run back to the store, and poof! Taken.
Heartbreaking really.
As of now, I’m crushing on this knit sweater vest from Anthropologie. Black and white knitted wool, button closure, big enough for me to swim, and it’s all I can think about!
Matched with tights, cinched with a belt, over a dress, or paired with stovepipes! The options are endless.
I can’t get this vest off of my mind! This is a crush, and a bad one at that.
To quote one of my favorite movies, Sixteen Candles, it only seemed fitting:
“That’s why they call them crushes. If they were easy, they’d call them something else.”
Touche.
BUT what we can do is splurge and buy our “clothes crushes” asap
Happy crush shopping!
