Hudgens PARADES On . . .
July 24, 2009
Vanessa Hudgens graces the cover of PARADE magazine for this weekend’s PARADE issue.
The common theme for Hudgens right now is about “growing up.” Following High School Musical, Hudgens has taken roles quite different from her clean-cut character Gabriella. Sa5m, her character from Bandslam, is quite the opposite. She is moody, a rocker and an outsider. The article talks about her fame and Hudgens’ finally moving into her “new home. . . alone. GASP.
Feeling the comforts of home, Hudgens feels safe and content with her life. However, what she feels the most is grateful to her success with High School Musical and to her fans. Yet with fame, one can always expect life measured by papa- paparazzi, haters and lovers. Hudgens discusses her fame and what it brings:
I try not to read the blogs or what people say about me. Because that’s what brings everybody down–no matter what you do, you’re always going to have haters. . . But if I want to do something, I’m going to do it, and if people recognize me, the fans, then great. They’re the reason why High School Musical is what it is, and they’re the reason why I’m here, so I’m thankful.” Parade Magazine

I feel like she has had better photo shoots prior to this, but nevertheless, she looks great in red, blue and white. . . . complete with a parasol.
