Pretty in Love . . .
July 28, 2009
This made me insanely happy. As long as I know Chuck and Blair are still on, I am the happiest Gossip Girl fan.
I feel like CHUCK is the only man who can pull off the bow tie, especially a pink one.
Sassy… for men.

Hudgens PARADES On . . .
July 24, 2009
Vanessa Hudgens graces the cover of PARADE magazine for this weekend’s PARADE issue.
The common theme for Hudgens right now is about “growing up.” Following High School Musical, Hudgens has taken roles quite different from her clean-cut character Gabriella. Sa5m, her character from Bandslam, is quite the opposite. She is moody, a rocker and an outsider. The article talks about her fame and Hudgens’ finally moving into her “new home. . . alone. GASP.
Feeling the comforts of home, Hudgens feels safe and content with her life. However, what she feels the most is grateful to her success with High School Musical and to her fans. Yet with fame, one can always expect life measured by papa- paparazzi, haters and lovers. Hudgens discusses her fame and what it brings:
I try not to read the blogs or what people say about me. Because that’s what brings everybody down–no matter what you do, you’re always going to have haters. . . But if I want to do something, I’m going to do it, and if people recognize me, the fans, then great. They’re the reason why High School Musical is what it is, and they’re the reason why I’m here, so I’m thankful.” Parade Magazine
Check out the photos from the shoot HERE !!
I feel like she has had better photo shoots prior to this, but nevertheless, she looks great in red, blue and white. . . . complete with a parasol.

JK Rowling Special . . .
July 18, 2009
I just watched JK Rowling’s A year in Her life special that aired on TV last night. The documentary gave a behind-the-scenes-look, at her life and both the writing and the publication of the last Harry Potter book The Deathly Hallows.
After watching it and coming to tears at various parts of the documentary, I have to say that JK Rowling is my hero. She writes because she loves it, because she needs it. With the first Potter book, she wrote Harry because she wanted to, and it didn’t matter if it was rejected from numerous publishers. As long as she wrote it, that was all that matter. Yet with some time, Harry Potter took off and the rest is . . . well, it is written in the 7 books, all of which that took 17 years to write.
JK Rowling is truly an inspiration to all writers and many others. . . including myself.
Watch the last clip of the special, the most emotional bit of the documentary:
How would you like to be remembered? “As someone who did the best she could, with the talent she had” – JK Rowling
Eclipse is Nearing . . .
July 17, 2009
Casting for the new Twilight movie has already begun! AND filming for the movie starts next month.
EXCITEMENT!
So who is the new member to join the cast? The next bad boy – Riley – Victoria’s newborn vampire who is sent to kill Bella. Riley is being played by Australian actor Xavier Samuel.
Eclipse doesn’t come out to theaters until June 30, 2010. Sure its a long time, but we always have New Moon to look forward to, and not to mention the Wolf Pack boys! [swoon]

Spandex Wearing…
July 17, 2009
I’ve been OBSESSED with black spandex pants. Yes, spandex…I can’t get enough of them.
In the fall, winter, spring or summer, these pants are the most versatile article of clothing I own. They are a BIG investment.
Dress it up with heels, catchy jewelry (long necklaces!) and a blazer
Dress it down with scarves, flats or fun scandals and a big t-shirt
The pet-peeve I have about spandex pants is when they are matched up with REALLY short tops. eek!
If you plan on wearing spandex pants, make sure your shirt falls below you bum. Trust me, no one wants to witness the “wedgie” phenomenon.
More “What I’m Wearing” moments to come…
Finding the Labels…
July 17, 2009
Look what I found!!!
Yes. This is a Marc Jacobs SF Denim Dress.
Where did I score this adorable dress? Loehmann’s – your fashion designer destination.
I was so excited when I found it!! I tried it on and vowed that I would purchase this great find.
So, even if designer clothes are UNBEARABLY expensive, don’t give up hope. Try a store, like Loehmann’s that sells designer clothes…on sale.
It’s the best way to live fashionably recession happy
Adam Kimmel is no longer on the Market. . . .
July 17, 2009
On the singles market that is.
I had previously introduced Adam Kimmel, one of my favorite men’s fashion designer here, but now he is getting a lot of buzz not just because of his designs, but because of the his recent engagement news!
Thanks to justjared, I got news of his engagement to actress Leelee Sobieski. Remember her from Never Been Kissed, The Glass House? She was recently in the film Public Enemies with Johnny Depp and Christian Bale.
I’m not going to lie, my heart sank when I saw the news of Kimmel’s engagement. What a heart breaker! BUT, I of course wish all the best for the couple.
