And now, the moment I have been waiting for! BEST ACTOR/ACTRESS/PICTURE.

Last year when Marion Cotillard won, I seriously cried. When past winners addressed the nominees, I could’t control my emotions!!!  Um Anne Hathaway, I was tearing up, Kate Winslet I lost it.

Best Actress: Kate Winslet. I LOVE HER!! I AM SO HAPPY THAT SHE WON!!!!!! I was crying throughout her speech.

Best Actor: Sean Penn

Best Picture: SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE

The 81st OSCARS has to be my favorite.  I’m happy for every winner and I’m glad they all won!!

The OSCARS 2…

Brad Pitt and Angelina really do annoy me.

WHY? Because they are EVERYWHERE! Like really, what is so special about them? Is it because they have 7 kids? They travel everywhere? That they have a child from almost every different country in the world? LIKE WTF? OH and does Benjamin Button have to win almost everything? HONESTLY

“Keira Knightley, you’re one classy lady.” Best Costume Design for The Duchess. Keira Knightley is one of my favorite actresses.  She was great in The Duchess.

OMG. Robert Pattison. You are amazing, and if only I could have be Bella…my life would be complete Amanda Seyfried, I love you but the red spaghetti straps?  I hate to sound cliche, but that was so 10 years ago.

Romance 2008. The fact that Coldplay is playing is killing me. And the fact that almost ALL of my favorite love movies are on the clip, just made my night. HSM3…Twilight…Mamma Mia…27 Dresses…all my favs.  That was truly epic. I had goosebumps. FACT.

Natalie Portman. I love her dress.  HAHA BEN STILLER is hilarious right now!  He is clearly poking fun at Joaquin Phoenix. LOL

Oh and Slumdog Millionaire is taking names. I never got around to watching that film, I’m definitely going to have to watch it asap.

Comedy 2008. That was hilarious. I love James Franco, look at him, so studly.  I actually just watched Fly Boys, well parts of it.  But he was really good in the film, it just make me realize how gorgeous he is.

HAHA I apologize for the onslaught of girlish tangents. I just can’t help myself.

The musical performance. To be HONEST, I did NOT like it. Like really Beyonce?  Why does she ALWAYS still have to steal the spotlight. VHudg and Zac didn’t really sing, neither did Amanda and Dominic. WTF.  The media hyped that performance up so much, and it was a letdown.  UGH.

Heath Ledger Wins Best Supporting Actor

Best Supporting Actor: Heath Ledger. I’m so glad he won, finally recognized for his great work and acting. Watching his father, mother and sister accept the award on behalf of his daughter, made me cry.  Every actor in that building was touched by the compassion left by Ledger. I’m so glad he won.

The OSCARS….

My favorite time of the year. It’s like Christmas morning. but not really.

Instead its the OSCARS. I have been waiting, WAITING!! Now it is finally here, and here I am…Sunday night at my house watching the show, neglecting my studies.

So to inform you, I am LIVE blogging.  My favorite actress and her dress has to Kate Winslet. She is just amazing, she was really memorizing in Revolutionary Road. I hope she wins tonight!!

I just watched the opening and Hugh Jackman did an amazing job.  The bit with Anne Hathaway was so cute!!!  Shall we discuss Anne Hathaway? Her dress? GorGEous. I had a wonderful discussion with K during the RED CARPET.  Anne is epic. Everything she wears is to perfection.  She is so elegant and timeless.  I love all of her dress choices!!! LOVE HER!

Best Supporting Actress: Penelope Cruz. I am in tears.  I love how they had previous winners announce the new winner.  That was really powerful.  This is why I love the Oscars so much.  Everyone comes together and history is re-visited, history is written.

Milk just won best screenplay. The speech was priceless. I was moved to tears.

Hmm and did you notice the beautiful Jennifer Aniston?? AND did you notice the camera switching to Brad and Angelina??  SKETCHY! They were smiling of course. I wonder how awkward that confrontation will be….

Blake Lively. We all know her for her stunning role in Gossip Girl (which I have to apologize I have not been posting my weekly gossip about GG…simply because A. its not on till March and B. I have engagements that conflict with the show’s time)

I’m normally not a fan of most of her outfits in GG, just because her boobs always seems to be falling out…but recently I saw a picture of her on justjared.com – my go to source for celeb info – and I fell in love with her outfit.  I’m loving leather jackets right now.  I have my own brown leather jacket hanging in my closet BUT I haven’t worn it yet I’d rather be wearing my HUGE black jacket to protect me from the BLISTERING cold! Honestly, this weather needs to stop.

Anyways, I’m always looking for the perfect outfit to pair with my jacket and of course nicer weather.

But I love how Blake wears her leather coat: with a dress and heels. How classy.

And to top it off she is at Ralph Lauren’s Fall Fashion show in NYC.

Speaking of the fashion show, I’m insanely jealous that I was not there.  To be in the same CITY as these top fashion designers, as well as these celebs, would make my heart melt.

Well, back to Blake…I love her outfit.  I want to steal her clothes (but not some of the Serena ones…)

I know I haven’t posted in a while, especially about my fav fashionista – vhug.

Well, here she is …. GETTING GAS! and she still looks put together and gorGEous.  I LOVE the shoes and of course the sweater…I’m a sucker for sweaters.

So about those brown ankle boots in my closet…maybe I should start putting them to use….with a brown sweater… hmm… the possibilities are endless…

It was a battle to walk to work today. The wind was blowing me this way and that…and my hair going EVERYWHERE.

Mmm Music…

So the other day I went home to visit for the night.  And then a drastic event almost happened: I ALMOST LEFT WITHOUT MY IPOD.

I KNOW.

Music is vital to me and if I don’t have my ipod, I’m just…LOST.  I need music 24/7.  I fall asleep listening to my ipod and I normally wake up with my earphones still  in my ear.   TRUTH.

But I recently did some damage on my itunes account and I felt the need to share with you my latest music obsessions:

Spring Fever comes TOO soon…

Here is one of my fashion pet peeves:

DRESSING FOR SPRING/SUMMER DURING THE WINTER

Today, the weather reached about 66 degrees. Seeing as how its still FEBRUARY, I donned my usual go-to outfit: skinny jeans, a tank top and a sweater, complete with my gold flats and long gold necklace. I, of course, wore my military-esque jacket just because ITS STILL FEBRUARY.

Well as I was out and about doing all of my errands today, I ran into numerous fashion NO-NOs.

You may be astonished, but these outfits actually happened:

• A SUMMER DRESS
• JEAN SHORTS
• JEAN SKIRTS
• PLAID SHORTS
• SWEAT SHORTS
• FLIP-FLOPS (which aren’t as bad…)

Like really people? It is only FEBRUARY, as I keep stressing. We are still in the midst of winter, spring is not here yet! So hold onto you spring/summer outfits!! Honestly.

I was very annoyed today, just because once the sun comes out and there is a glint of warmer weather, spring/summer fever takes over.

Here is my advice: relax. There will be plenty of time to wear the summer dresses and shorts. Let’s not get ahead of ourselves.
