I miss The Office…

So, did anyone know that ONDEMAND “erased” all the season’s of The Office, save for season 5.

I AM LIVID!!

I only had 6 more episodes of season two to watch, and now they’re gone. GONE!

I guess I have to be old fashioned and rent them from Blockbuster :/

But in the mean time…here are some the best moments from The Office.  I haven’t seen most of the full episodes, seeing as how I’m only on season two, but they’re hilarious.

The Ice isn’t so icy….

So yesterday we had a “snow storm” and it was pretty fabulous (if you weren’t on the roads or anything).

Snow days, snow men and snow angels were all the buzz yesterday.  As for me, I chose to stay in my PJS, have some snacks and BLOG. LOL

But anyways, I eventually had to step out of my litte cozy hole to meet up with the real world.  I caught up with old friends, failed to catch up with my responsibilities and got ice cream….which is weird, but it was all for a good cause!

As I went outside with my housemates, my one friend nearly slipped on a sheet of ice!! It was scary/hysterical at the same time. I literally had tears because I was laughing so hard.  But it was all in good fun   So after her near-fall experience, we all made sure to watch our step to avoid slipping and falling on our sweet bums.

I’m glad to report that we made it okay, without any slips or falls. . .that is until we got back to our humble abode.

I was about to hop into the shower, my towels were all set, my body wash in hand and I had my “shower flip-flops” on.  WELL it wasn’t until I put ONE foot into the shower that I realized…I had the wrong shoes on. They were the flat, non-grip flip flops, which caused a BIG problem…

So as my right foot went into the shower, I slipped, causing my left foot to fly out from under me, drop my body wash and I fall on my sweet bum onto the dirty shower floor. Oh and its safe to say that I yelped…twice.  I  cannot explain to you the bumps and bruises I have all over my leg at this point and time.  They really are just fabulous reminders.

So its safe to say that despite the ICE that covered the roads and pathways yesterday, I somehow managed to slip in my own shower.

I mind as well shower with my rain boots from now on…

VHUDG…again…

So I know I blog about VHudg a lot, but the girl has a great fashion sense.

In this recent photo, the fashionista dons a leather jacket. . . one of my latest obsessions.  But here’s the issue, its too cold to wear it! I’m waiting for warmer weather so I can sport my new leather jacket

And according to VHudg…it seems like you can wear brown with black.  The outfit fits well together, if only I had warmer weather…

Oh, and don’t get me started on this outfit.  I freaking love everything about it.  The dress, the fabulous swede fringe bag, and THE SHOES.  WEAR CAN i FIND THOSE SHOES!  They are soo bold and gorGEous.

But of course I would have to wait until Spring comes around…I would have no where to wear those sandals here in winter storm central.

Till then, I’ll be sporting boots, jeans, a sweater, a scarf and my long black glorious puffy jacket

Oh I can’t wait to get my hands on spring must haves….

Slouchy Hats…

Question:

Can people with curly hair wear slouchy knits?

I am very annoyed by this new trend.  I LOVE the look, yet I don’t think I can pull it off due to my frizzy hair.

I mean..would it fit over my BIG hair?  Every picture you see with this amazing hat…its with straight hair.  But what about us curly haired??!!

If I was to wear this hat, all my hair would have to be stuffed inside the hat, therefore it would be a hat full of hair.  Would this be ok? LOL

V-Hudg seems to think so…

Lindsay Lohan can def. pull it off.  UGH if only my hair would fit this hat!

Nominations…

The Oscar Nominations have been revealed.

And I must say, I am disappointed.  Leo was not nominated.  Kate Winslet was nominated for Actress in a Leading Role and I HOPE she wins and beats out Angie.

But Benjamin Button has been taking names.  I haven’t watched the movie yet, so I guess I better get on that ASAP.

But I’m just really upset that Leo didn’t get nominated, I mean when is he going to win?!?!?

Dear Philadelphia Eagles,

You never cease to break my heart.  I try not to get my hopes up, but you build them up, only to have them crash again.

Field goal kicks, why did you miss them?

2-point conversion- why did you screw that up?

You played well, but you failed.

Next year, I’ll tell myself not to get excited over your wins, but I will…only to have my hopes TORN TO PIECES.

Good job Eagles. This was suppose to by OUR year, but no…no no no no.  You decided, hey, let’s screw up!

My Coldplay…

Here are my boys and their video for Lovers in Japan, one of my favorite songs off their album: Viva la Vida or Death and All of His Friends.  I just bought Prospekt’s March EP and no surprise, its amazing.  Their music is just so powerful, it just takes over you. I really have no words to explain their music, it really is one of a kind.

Coldplay is my all-time favorite band and I’m so upset because I never got to see them in concert!!  I never get my hands on a ticket and its killing me.  Sooner or later, I NEEEEED to go see them

A little FYI: Life in Technicolor ii will be their newest single in the UK.  The music video will air on January 20th. Check out their site for more info…

As you all know, the Grammy Awards are soon airing on February 8th, and there are A LOT of great nominees…

Coldplay is up for 7 NOMINATIONS and they are (according to grammy.com):

Four-time GRAMMY winners Coldplay has seven nominations: Record Of The Year, Song Of The Year and Best Pop Performance By A Duo Or Group With Vocals for “Viva La Vida”; Album Of The Year and Best Rock Album for Viva La Vida Or Death And All His Friends; and Best Rock Performance By A Duo Or Group With Vocals and Best Rock Song for “Violet Hill.”

The Grammy Awards also produced this image of the band, using the names of different songs that have inspired each member of Coldplay into a picture of the band.  They have done this for various artists as well, like Rihanna.

AND, it has been confirmed that they will be performing on the Grammy Awards telecast. I am so thrilled to see them!

Also, my girl LADY GAGA is up for a Grammy for Best Dance Recording. HOLLER!!

In other Grammy news, my favorite solo artist JASON MRAZ is up for 2 NOMINATIONS: Best Male Pop Vocal Performance and Song of the Year. He is another artist I would love to go see live in concerto…but I have yet to go

This is going to be an amazing award show and I hope all my fav nominees win a grammy

Who knew…

The Office.

I have never watched the show in my life, but over the holidays my brother and I watched one episode of the show and now we’re hooked.

I heard people saying how hilarious this show is, but I never believed it…UNTIL I started watching it.

It really is HILARIOUS and I can’t believe I never gave it a shot back in the day.  I have never laughed so hard in my life, honestly.  Last night, my brother and I were watching Season two, The Injury and I was laughing to the point where my stomach was KILLING me…and if I laughed for another minute, I would have peed myself. TRUE STORY.

Its official, I am addicted to The Office, and I hope you all give this show a chance (if you haven’t already).

Alice in Wonderland…

Alice in Wonderland.

A beloved children’s story, a magical Disney movie.

Ever since Lewis Carroll’s story was told, various adaptations were made.  Just recently, Frank Beddor wrote a new series about the “truth” of Alice’s story called The Looking Glass Wars.  

The series comes in a total of three novels, and only two have been published: The Looking Glass Wars and Seeing Redd. I have read these two novels and they are REALLY good.  It’s an interesting take on Carroll’s original story, and he ties the events from this “fantasy” world to the “real” world.  Check out the site HERE.

AND NOW, Tim Burton is making his own version of the story, into a CGI movie due out March 3, 2010.

Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter

Some of the main players in the movie are Johnny Depp, who is playing the Mad Hatter, and Ann Hathaway! It looks like a great movie and I can’t wait to see the newest adaptation of Alice in Wonderland
