A New Obsession…

So this was bound to happen.

I am addicted to TWILIGHT. I just finished New Moon the other day…only took me two days.  I couldn’t put it down!!

So what are my thoughts on the book and anything TWILIGHT related?

WELL here is my SHORT AND SWEET:

1. I felt that it was very boring compared to the first one.  It picked up towards the END.  As long as Edward came back…that is all that I care about!

2. Jacob Black- he is a keeper…as a FRIEND!  It was very sweet how he become very protected of Bella, but it just sucks how Bella can’t be friends with him if she is with Edward.  That is going to be tough.

3. I love Edward. Yea… I wonder if a guy like him exists…save for his vampire tendencies.

4. I’m starting Eclipse. Which sucks because I DON’T HAVE TIME TO READ IT.  Ah I can’t help it…my social life will have to suffer for a bit.

5. If you didn’t know already know, I have watched Twilight three times already, and I’ll probably watch it again with my friend who has yet to see it.

6. I bought the soundtrack and it is really good.  Paramore is great, especially their song: I caught myself. That’s on repeat in my ipod. This obsession will last until I finish the series, so look forward to more blog entries about Twilight and Edward.

Britney is Back…

Britney Spears is making a come back.  We all knew this day would come.  With her new CD, a new documentary, she is sure to make an appearance on the magazine stands.  Here she is on the new GLAMOUR cover.  aka. My favorite MAGAZINE!

I’m actually really excited about her new CD Circus that hits stores December 2nd aka. her birthday.  I have a feeling that this CD is going to be BIG.  You can count on me buying her CD when it comes out. I’ll fill you in on the deets when I get it.

New Trailer for Harry Potter…

GREAT NEWS FOR HARRY POTTER FANS:

There are more trailers for the newest Potter film: Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince!  When I went to go watch TWILIGHT for the 2nd…3rd time…. (don’t judge me) I watched the latest trailer and I got really excited! It looks AMAZING!!

TWILIGHT MOVIE REVIEW!

Of course I watched Twilight AT MIDNIGHT! Really, it was the only way to watch the movie.

As I was waiting for the movie to start, I was reading the book.  Call me a nerd, a dork…I don’t care.  I LOVED IT. EVERY MOMENT OF IT!!

So let’s get straight to it:

JO’S SHORT AND SWEET:

1. Edward was AMAZING.  He was gorgeous and funny and amazing and gorgeous and funny and amazing…

2. I really liked Kristen Stewart.  She really captured Bella’s character.

3. The movie followed the book very well, except for a couple of minor things, but it was all necessary to make the 2 hour movie.

4. The acting.  Hmm, well I have to admit that some parts were a little…awkward…and not the best acting, BUT to all of the die-hard fans, the movie was perfect.

5. Edward and Bella=the cutest couple ever. I wish I was her….

6. Will I see it again?  Pretty sure I’m watching it again tonight I’ll be able to actually HEAR it, save for all the teenage girly screams and shrills every time Robert Pattinson flashed onto the screen.

HAPPY TWILIGHT!

There has been SO much rage about TWILIGHT, and I just couldn’t understand what was so great about these books.  I have previously talked about it here on the blog. Well…………..

That was until I started reading TWILIGHT. And let me tell you….WOW. wowowowowowowowowowowow!!!

Let’s just say that I love Edward and I want to be with him forever and ever and ever!

Just the way Meyer describes Edward and Bella and their relationship is just breathtaking. I myself feel as if I’m going to pull a Bella and pass out! Her writing isn’t difficult to read, but its the way she writes that is just mesmerizing. She truly captures the emotions of all the characters and I how she writes out Bella’s thoughts. Sometimes I’m like…wow THAT’S ME! I’m sure lots of other young ladies can agree with me!

I haven’t finished the book yet, HOWEVER, I plan to have it done by tonight … right before I head to the theaters and watch the midnight showing. Apparently, ALL midnight showings are SOLD OUT!! Isn’t that crazy! But does this compare to Harry Potter? Somewhat….I feel like TWILIGHT is doing extremely well, but we will have to look to the box office to get a definite answer.

So you’re probably wondering how I got my tickets? Well, that’s for me to know and you to … guess? haha Let’s just say I have connections.

Anyways, I’m really excited about tonight and you can count on me blogging about it as soon as I see it, because let’s be honest, how could I not fill you in??

Who Dies on Gossip Girl…

SO this night’s Gossip Girl was a good episode, but nothing compares to the next THRILLING episode where an “accident” takes place and someone … dies … ahhhh!

Well here is my Short and Sweet take on tonight’s Gossip Girl:

1. JENNY- it’s about time you stopped acting out and realized that you’re an idiot and “divorcing” your family for the sake of your burnt dresses is pointless.  Congratulations, you have been awarded the BIGGEST MORON On The Show award. Please go home.

and you’re haircut needs to stop.  You look like a boy …. gagreel.

2. I love BLAIR. I really do. Her outfits tonight were mesmerizing. Love her. Can’t wait for the next episode, hopefully her and Chuck pick up where they left off…wink wink…

3. Oh Nate.  Do you really like Jenny and don’t know what to do about it? Let me help you… GET OVER HER AND PICK A NEW GIRL…. and NOT Vanessa… Oh yea, and he was so cute when he talked to his Dad… I had tears.

4. Speaking of Vanessa, taking letters that are not address to you is a big no-no. Get over Nate, it is clear he does not like you…or does he?  But tonight made me realize that I really don’t like you, and that no matter how hard you try to set yourself apart from everyone else (Blair, Nate, Serena, Chuck) you are exactly like them.

5. Rufus and Lily are adorable and they NEED to be together.  The dinner scene at the end was just the cutest thing ever.  If they don’t end up together, I will be heartbroken!!

6. What is Bart’s deal!?!?! He is a creeper….

7. Serena.  I don’t know what it is, but lately her outfits have been a little revealing and not cute.  Take for instance her yellow top and red skirt get up was just a little too short….and unnecessary.  And this boy Aaron? EWWY.

8. I KNOW WHO DIES ON GOSSIP GIRL!!! I KNOW WHO DIES ON GOSSIP GIRL!!! Will I tell you? Hm, well it depends on if you wanna know…. let’s just say that my predictions were correct

I should be sleeping, because I have to get up in a few hours to go to Good Morning America tomorrow– but I can’t. I can’t stop thinking about the fact that in less than 24 HOURS, the new album is going to be out. It’s crazy to think about, because this is literally everything I’ve thought about for the past two years. I’ve been wanting you to hear these new songs since the very moment of their creation. Every single song has a face attached. They’re all about people. Some even mention names. But most importantly, these songs tell my stories.

These songs tell the story of my freshmen year of high school, and the day I met Abigail. They tell the story of the guy who apologized over and over again without ever meaning it. The story about saying goodbye to someone when you don’t want to, because you can’t breathe without them. The story of the boy who never realized he was with the wrong girl, and that the right one was right there in front of him. The story of my childhood, and the moment I realized my mom was the best friend I’ll ever have. The memories of running and laughing and having the best days with her.

These songs tell stories about fairytale romances, and how sometimes they don’t work out the way you dream about when you’re a little girl. Because when we’re young, we dream about Romeo and Prince Charming– and we hope he’ll ride up on a white horse and rescue us. But sometimes the white horse shows up too late, after the prince has already let you down and left your dreams out in the rain. I never read a fairy tale with that ending. I guess that’s the hard part about living in reality.

One song tells the story of the underdogs who spent every day dreaming about the day they’d see things change, and the story of the night things finally…. did. And they sang hallelujah. There’s the story of the first date that’s so magical, you want to dance around the parking lot in the rain. In your best dress. There’s the tragic story of the boy who walked away–because he found some other girl to promise forever to. Then there’s the love story about how it can all actually work out perfectly and wonderfully. And how love really CAN be everything we dream about. About how someday, we all just might find the one that will kneel to the ground and pull out a ring and say “Marry me, Juliet. You never have to be alone. I love you and that’s all I really know.”

And maybe that’s wishful thinking. But maybe… that’s just being fearless.
