Oh My! Look at how you’ve grown…

I couldn’t help myself.  After perusing through my new favorite Web site Cinematical, I found myself face to face with NEW Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince photos. 

All I have to say is, MY! How they have grown!!!

Here are my three favorite characters: Harry, Ron and Hermione aka. Daniel, Rupert and Emma.

Oh, and THIS is Draco Malfoy aka Tom Felton…growing up has done him some good!!

ps. When I went to the movies the other day, I saw the Harry Potter trailer.   I sat frozen in my chair, with goosebumps.  The trailer looks even better on the big screen!! I can’t wait

I’ve heard a rumor…

Rumors, Rumors, Rumors!!!

Well, seeing as how BATMAN: THE DARK KNIGHT was such a hit…it would be stupid not to film a 3rd one.

SO, I’ve been hearing/reading rumors that a 3rd Batman is underway….and who is the villain now?

Let’s think back to the days of Jim Carrey…he was in a tight green spandex onesie….

could it be the Riddler??

And from what I’ve heard/read…the actor who is to play the crafty little Riddler is… a little pirate I like to call, Johnny Depp.

There’s also rumors of the 3rd Batman having the villain of CATWOMAN played by Angelina Jolie, but she’s probably going to be too busy adopting and having more babies….sorry I couldn’t help myself….

Nothing has been set in stone yet, but if Johnny Depp is the new villain…well, we can all expect another jackpot at the box offices.

Favre is a JET…

Brett Favre has been traded to the New York JETS.

You’ve probably know all about this, but seeing as how ESPN isn’t one of my top TV stations or Web sites, I missed it… so naturally, I read it on Perez. hahaha

Here’s my only problem with the trade. The Philadelphia Eagles were the first teams called to see if they wanted Brett Favre aka. the greatest QB ever…and they said NO. Do you want to know why?  Well because we have McNabb, so we’re sure to win the Superbowl this time around.  Let’s just hope he doesn’t get hurt… again.

Honestly, now I dislike the JETS because they have Favre and we’re still stuck with McNabb.  I wouldn’t be so upset with McNabb being our QB, if he A. didn’t get hurt almost every season or B. he got us a Super Bowl win.

Thanks Andy Reid.  When McNabb gets hurt again, or loses the Super Bowl for us, I’ll be the girl on the sidelines yelling out YOU SHOULD HAVE TAKEN FAVRE!

BUT if by some miracle, McNabb wins the Super Bowl… I’ll dedicate a post to him, praising all of his efforts.   

Don’t get me wrong, I’m an EAGLES fan, and a true fan shouldn’t doubt their team, but when you have people like ANDY REID AND DONOVAN MCNABB, you get a little frustrated.  Like make a change, DO SOMETHING!  We were so close to that win, yet soo far away from that confetti….

All in all, it’s going to be a great season, seeing Favre come back and playing for the JETS :D Now, if I was the Green Bay Packers and Favre told me that he wanted to come back, I’d be like OMG YES PLEASE! But no, no no no, Green Bay turned their backs on him  and now I can’t wait for them to meet their “maker!”

We’re going to have to wait till 2014 to see the two teams play against each other. Seeing as how they are in different conferences.  BUT until then, I’m just happy to see Brett Favre come back

I say this “with concern and love…”

I am officially a fan of Anderson Cooper.

He has concluded my thoughts on a very annoying celeb family, the Lohans.  I apologize to any true fans, but seriously? Living Lohan has GOT to go.  I’ve probably only watched 5 minutes of it, because any longer I might just pull my hair out.

He was on the Regis and Kelly show, filling in for Regis and he says the obvious about this show/family.  Please watch this clip, I was laughing so hard.

In response to Cooper’s rant about her show, Dina Lohan made a professional response.  It’s pretty legit, I mean she did speak ”exclusively” to OK! Magazine, the most legit celeb magazine out there…. haha I can’t help but chuckle.

“People are just cruel!” she said. “This is bad karma for him.” – Dina Lohan.

HAHA, oh Dina, Dina, Dina, do us all a favor and get a new job.  It’s more like bad karma for you because you have such a joke “reality show.”

OMG, I have to add this.  After perusing through PEREZ, I found Cooper’s response to Dina’s crafty comment. CHECK OUT THE VIDEO HERE! Once again, I was chuckling a little too loudly.

Always a part of the Sisterhood…

I watched THE SISTERHOOD OF THE TRAVELING PANTS 2 last night…at midnight (if you want to be “technical” earlier this morning).

I have much to say about this movie, so if you haven’t watched it yet or read the book and hate spoilers, I suggest you stop reading now.  But come back when you do watch it!!

So I watched it with my best friend, we watched the first one together, so it was only right to watch the second one together.

ANYWAYS, the movie was so cute and it really reminds you how important friendship is. I mean without it, you’re just lost, and that was the main message of both the series and movie.

In this film, each of the girls really grow while they face serious situations, and find themselves growing apart

Blair- comes to terms with her mother’s suicide

Lena- gets her heart broken by Kostos, her first and true love, and she soon gets the courage to move on and ultimately face him again

Tibby- her pregnancy scare allows her to learn that the ones you love will never leave you

Carmen- she doubted herself, which placed her behind the scenes where her “friend” Julia liked her to be.  So Carmen had to learn to believe in herself again, and to learn how to reconnect to her friends.

In the end, everything comes together in Greece.  The pants are lost, but the friendships they have are forever. They learn how important they are to one another, and that no matter the distance or the changes they each undergo, they will always be there for one another.  

Now in terms of the books, the second movie combined books 2,3,and 4.  I really had no problem with it skipping over a couple of details here and there because all I cared about was KOSTOS AND LENA ENDING UP TOGETHER! haha no no not really….okay I did.

We all know that in book 4, the relationship between Kostos and Lena kind of went open-ended.  I felt that it leaned more towards the two going their separate ways, which really upset me because I love those two together.   WELL, in the movie Kostos said it perfectly, they will do whatever it takes to keep loving each other (I totally paraphrased that…he said it better though). So that really made me happy because now I know that they are destined to be together and that they WILL.

Another aspect of the movie that I really didn’t like was how they didn’t bring back Eric.  Like….excuse me? WHERE DID HE GO!?  BOO! He is HUGE in the novel, especially in book # 3 and 4!!  Oh yea, I loved it how they threw Effie into this movie, when she didn’t even exist in the first novel. 

I liked how they wrote the storyline for Tibby and Carmen.  Tibby was hilarious and I’m glad she grew from her prego-scare   Also, Carmen is my hero.  I can mostly relate to her for some reason.  Sometimes believing in yourself is hard to do, and you yourself can be you’re worst friend.  Carmen teaches all of us that no matter what, you have to believe in yourself and never doubt your abilities.   

So for my Short and Sweet:

1. It’s a great friendship movie. Me and my BFF practically held hands the entire time (FYI we’ve been friends for 16 years now)

2. Kostos was amazing. I’m going to GREECE to find him, and possibly skinny-dip with him.

3. The music in the movie was soo good. I actually listened to the soundtrack on itunes and I bought a couple of songs :)

4. All in all, it was a great sequel to a great book series.

5. I’m watching it again with my beloved friends. I’m pretty excited.

6. Oh yea and LEO??? GOR-GE-OUS!! Can we just say that his eyes were amazing! … but he doesn’t come close to my beloved Kostos.

So as for my M&Ms…
